1. About Me

    I am a senior in college and a D1 athlete.  Growing up I was naturally skinny and so developed terrible eating habits.  I never worked out besides practicing my sport, which kept me thin for a while.  However, since high school I have always been just a bit overweight… I made excuses because I was an athlete, and told myself that it was mostly muscle.  Even putting on weight in college, I explained it away as a result of lifting a lot.  It doesn’t help that one of my favorite non-sport things to do is bake.  Now that I am graduating in a year, I realize I need to fix my diet and my exercise habits so that I can finally be in truly good shape.  I want to finally be a runner, not just an athlete, and have a body that matches my perception of myself.  This blog is partly personal motivation, partly a place to save great workout ideas and recipes, partly a place to track my weight loss, and partly a place to vent! ;)
